Protecting Children
I have championed the protection of children and family values through comprehensive legislation. Key measures include banning gender transition treatments for minors, restricting access to sexually explicit content, and ensuring parental authority over children’s education and healthcare decisions.
Protecting Life
As a Tennessee legislator, I’ve proudly contributed to some of the nation’s strongest pro-life laws. I sponsored the Human Life Protection Act in 2019, which outlawed abortions in Tennessee following the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Additionally, I’ve supported laws that protect the unborn, prevent taxpayer funding for abortions, ensure proper care for pregnant women, and introduce educational measures on fetal development, solidifying our commitment to protecting life at all stages.
Fighting Illegal Immigration
I am proud to have consistently supported and passed legislation over the last decade and a half to crack down on illegal immigration and protect our communities.
Protecting 2nd Amendment Rights
As a member of the Tennessee General Assembly, I’ve championed several key pieces of legislation to protect and enhance gun rights. In 2021, I co-sponsored the permitless carry law, ensuring Tennesseans can exercise their constitutional right to carry firearms without a permit. Additionally, I’ve supported laws to protect gun owner privacy, shield firearm manufacturers from liability, and promote handgun safety, all reinforcing our commitment to the Second Amendment..
Tough on Crime
I have implemented tough-on-crime legislation to enhance public safety and accountability. Key measures include ensuring violent and sexual offenders serve 100% of their sentences and increasing judicial transparency and accountability in setting bond amounts for serious crimes.

Sorry, I don't vote for any republican who supports Trump. You can't deny he did a lot of things that are disgraceful to say the least.
While I am a transplant to Tennessee from the North, yes, I am a Democratic Yankee now living in Washington county, I looked up my polling location so I could vote for you, to quickly find out you’re not in my district. Pardon my ignorance. While yes, I understand you support former President Trump, and I don’t, watching and learning more about your opponent frightens me. His voice and his voting power will hurt not only Sullivan county, but all of Tennessee. I’ve constantly seen your interviews with WCYB and I’ve always respected the way you speak, your thoughts, your opinions, and your demeanor. You have stood up for what YOU believed in and what are Tennessee Values. Tennessee values are changing. Natives will not believe that, and I’m sure you won’t believe that either. But I assure you, they’re changing. Just look at the people flocking to the area. We need to hear those new voices. Voices that call out for a woman’s right to choice, added safety measures to fire arms, the protection of school children from gun violence, LGTBQIA freedoms, and so much more. No, not a Democratic agenda, but a moderate agenda right down the middle. Tennessee is a beautiful place I am so thankful to call home. As a new englander, we look at Southeast New England, where the immigrants from Europe came in the early 1900’s and Late 1800’s. In New England we see Italians, Portuguese, Irish, Polish, Spanish, Mexican, Armenian, Greeks, and so so so many others. That’s what our country was founded on, a place where people did not agree with the king and wanted to be free and have a shot at what would be later known as the American Dream. We are all equal. We all look different. Watching your opponents father destroy your campaign signs, his campaign throw lie after lie after lie, the lengths that man went to, to obtain the Republican nomination is questionable. Why? Why did they not want you in there? How much does he want to abandon Tennessee values to get close to the MAGA Republican values? Who is funding those big time donations? What do they want that he will give them? Jon, in my two short years of being a transplant, you’ve earned my respect. You’ve earned my support. While we wouldn’t ever agree on the issues at hand, I URGE you, do not give up on Sullivan Co. do not give up on Tennessee, do not give up on your constituents, and most of all, do not give up on yourself. I’ve watched this video several times, there’s NOTHING on video as she screams out, of this man touching any sign? There’s no video proof of him even putting up a Bobby Harshbarger sign? There’s no video evidence of ANY signs in back of his vehicle either! Mr Lundberg is stopping very low using this as proof of any tampering of his campaign signs! Stooping VERY low! This race seems to be nothing more than lies and dirty politics. Harshbarger accused Lundberg of voting for and against bills that were nothing but lies and diving into his voting record the truth was revealed. I hadn’t been involved closely with either side and frankly, unsure which candidate would have our votes. This certainly helped with that decision. Thanks Harshbarger, you helped me finalize my decision to vote for Lundberg!
From the looks of things, he appeared more threatened by the For Sale sign, while the Lundberg sign remains very intact. Despite the hatch opening, I see no other signs. A video capturing the entire event would have been more substantial, and end-result pictures would also provide more value. Never mind, I guess the For Sale sign is a Lundberg sign after all. Forgot that's probably how your vote in Nashville is persuaded.
It's a shame that politics has "devolved" into being petty instead of showing integrity and putting your best effort forward for the betterment of society. If you cannot handle the possibility of losing a political battle, it may be best to pursue a different avenue. I would be ashamed to consider that individual a supporter of mine.
